The old town of Nessebur is located 30km north of Burgas, on a small peninsula in the Black Sea wich is linked with the land (the new Nessebar town) only by a long and narrow isthmus.

It is one of the oldest towns in Europe founded around 3000 years B.C. by the Thracians and is considered the richest town in architectural monuments from the Middle Ages in Bulgaria.

There are 23 churches and monuments from an Early Christian basilica to a domed Byzantine church - specimen, reflecting the archaeological and artistic influence of the Greek, Roman and Byzantine epoch.

The main beach – Sunny Beach – is several miles long and gets very popular in the summer months.

There is plenty to entertain the kids along the promenade, as well as good value watersports for the older children.

Sveti Vlas (St. Vlas) is a beautiful fast developing resort, situated 5 km north of Sunny Beach.

The resort lies at the foot of the Balkan mountain range. It has been developed into a modern beach destination during the recent years, with brand new hotels and tourist infrastructure.

The beaches at St. Vlas are three with a total length of 1,5 km. There are numerous hotels of different categories and prices in the resort. Most of the hotels offer all inclusive accommodation.

The resort is famous for its Yacht port "Marina Dinevi" with a capacity for 300 yachts and excellent facilities.
